Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Base: Park House Health & Social Care Centre, NG4 3DQ
Salary: £94,007 - £108,038 per annum

Community Dental Services CIC are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual for the role of Specialist in Special Care Dentistry, who identifies with our values as a Social Enterprise and is passionate about providing care for those most at need.
Applications are invited from enthusiastic dentists for this this post based at our clinics at Park House Health & Social Care Centre. The post holder will also support clinics at Meadows Health Centre and undertake GA sessions Queens Medical Centre as required.
Main duties of the job
You will be responsible in providing specialist dental advice and treatment for people with disabilities and/or complex medical conditions, under sedation or general anaesthesia where appropriate. Dental care may be provided in community, hospital or domiciliary settings, and a flexible approach will be required in responding to the clinical care needs of these patients. You will also be responsible for the triaging of GDS referrals as part of a Consultant led process.
We are seeking an individual who will take a clinical leadership role in developing Special Care Dentistry within Nottinghamshire, including training and support to other members of the dental team. You will support the lead for the Dental Services and will have the opportunity to shape and develop the service and team.
The post holder must be registered and maintain registration as a Specialist in Special Care Dentistry with the General Dental Council and must have an active NHS Primary Dental Care Performer Number. A CCST in Special Care Dentistry would be an advantage.
As you will be expected to provide support to all clinics across Nottinghamshire, the ability to visit all bases in the county is essential.
