Oral Health Improvement Practitioner Permanent, Part Time, 22.5 Hours
Hours: 22.5 hours per week (3 days)
Base: 7, Hillside Road, Bury St Edmunds, IP32 7EA Remote/Hybrid working
Salary: £26,530 - £29,114 per annum, pro rata (Actual £15,918.00 - £17,468.40)

Main duties of the job
What are we looking for?
A confident communicator and able to deliver "train the trainer" oral health sessions to schools and groups in the community across Suffolk.
Your experience of participation in health campaigns and the production of high-quality resources will demonstrate your creativity and imagination.
You will liaise closely with external partners to deliver coordinated care and seek further opportunities to improve the oral health of our population.
Having proficient IT skills, accuracy and promptness are important.
Understand the oral health needs of our local population, engaging positively with those most vulnerable to oral health inequalities and disadvantage.
Main duties include providing oral health promotion to vulnerable groups in the community along with formal and informal training for a variety of employees working in the community, including health professionals and peer educators.
Working patterns are flexible within the hours Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 5.00pm. Occasionally you will be required to work outside these hours.
This is a Suffolk wide role, so car drivers are essential.
