Job summary
Here is seeking to appoint a
GP clinical lead to support our delivery of primary care services at the Brighton
Urgent Treatment Centre.
We know that a significant
proportion of patients who attend on the urgent care pathway do not require
secondary care. We believe that patients are better served in primary care
environment More than this, we believe
that these presentations in urgent care represent an opportunity to re-connect
patients with primary care services, and to better understand the needs which
may have driven them to present in this way. This supports the national initiative for
recovering access to Primary Care and improves the patient journey.

are seeking to recruit an experienced GP to work in partnership with our ANP

which provide additional capacity to the NHS 111 pathway.

service operates 6.30-9.30pm Monday to Friday and 8am to 8pm Saturday, Sunday
and Bank Holidays.
The
role will lead a team of sessional clinical staff, providing clinical
leadership and quality assurance, embedding a robust system for clinical
governance, and working with our partners to understand how this evolving
pathway can best respond to the needs of people attending on the urgent care
pathways.The
