Job summary
To succeed in this role, you will:
- Be a Qualified Nursing Associate or Equivalent in Healthcare.
- Be experienced working independently and in multidisciplinary teams.
- Possess a demonstrable level of theoretical and clinical knowledge of Lymphoedema management.
- Be a skilled communicator.
- Have good understanding of safe practice environments and professional boundaries.
- Hold a valid driving licence and have access to a vehicle to attend external clinics and community groups.
Main duties of the job
About the Role
- Key responsibilities will include:
- Delivering treatment
- Conducting unsupervised clinics for stable patients and supporting review clinics.
- Educating patients and carers on self-care and lifestyle practices.
- Assessing and monitoring treatment outcomes.
- Liaising with internal and external services to ensure holistic patient support.
- Participating in wellbeing groups and initiatives.

Our main Hospice is located just minutes from Junction 32 of the M62 in Pontefract, where we provide some of our outpatient clinics for our successful Lymphoedema clinic.
