Job summary

The successful candidate will work alongside the Step 2 Team to ensure that the needs of the clients NHS Sefton Talking Therapies services are being met. You must be a qualified Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner and be able to provide evidence of working with people who have experienced a mental health problem within a Talking Therapies service. You will also be able to demonstrate an understanding of anxiety and depression and how it may present in Primary Care.

Have the ability to offer evidence-based practice in facilitated self-help and group work Promote and contribute to the development and maintenance of a healthy therapeutic culture within the service amongst colleagues and the people who use the service.

Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner Hours: 37.5 Salary: £28,407 per annum dependent on experience (NHS AFC Band 5 point 16) Location: Travel across the Sefton locality required, hybrid working Contract type: Fixed term, 12 month to cover maternity leave About us Mental Health Matters (MHM) is a national charity with over 40 years of experience in delivering high-quality mental health and social care services. You should be able to integrate into the existing Step 2 team as well as the wider service. Please refer to the attached job description for full details on person specification for this role.
