Job summary
As a Crisis Recovery Worker, you will be required to provide a high quality, recovery focused service to individuals who have a range of mental health and autistic traits as well as other support needs including learning disabilities, physical health issues and substance misuse, whilst promoting independence and social inclusion. With experience of working within a community based, mental health setting, you should be able to inspire, engage and motivate people.
Main duties of the job
As a Crisis Recovery Worker, you will be required to provide a high quality, recovery focused service to individuals who have a range of mental health and autistic traits as well as other support needs including learning disabilities, physical health issues and substance misuse, whilst promoting independence and social inclusion. With experience of working within a community based, mental health setting, you should be able to inspire, engage and motivate people. With the proven ability to identify barriers, understand need and support people to achieve their goals the role will include one to one engagement, facilitating activities within the service and community, administrative tasks, sign posting and engaging people in other provision. You will work alongside Peer Support Workers (PSW) and Clinicians to achieve the best person-centered care with the patient for their recovery, whether that be joint working with other services to support them to make reasonable adjustments or PSW so patients can learn and practice skills.
