Job summary
Due to an internal promotion, we are now looking to appoint a Team Leader to lead our team of Mental Health Helpline Support Workers. The successful candidate will be experienced in this type of job role, looking for their next career step. This role requires a Level 3 Certificate in Counselling, along with an appropriate qualification in Management, Social Care or equivalent.
Main duties of the job
Maintain and increase performance to 85% Fully understand all contracts delivered within the helpline To support the Support Matters Manager in the delivery of services and to deputise in their absence. Ensure full implementation and compliance with MHM policies and procedures and provide feedback on the effectiveness of all policies and procedures. Comply with legal and regulatory requirements such as provisions set out in the Data Protection Act 1998, Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 and the Corporate Manslaughter & Homicide Act 2008. Ensure accuracy of for reporting and record keeping of team members, ensuring data input is effective and timely. Produce weekly and monthly monitoring reports, statistical data and evaluation as required and in keeping with MHM's policies and procedures and within agreed deadlines. Develop constructive professional working relationships with colleagues (internally and externally) and stakeholders. To actively promote the service at every opportunity. Call scoring and training of all staff De-briefing and reflective work for all staff Strong performance management and support
