Job summary

You will need a minimum 'A' Level Standard (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent), You will have experience of working with Mental Health and will be able to inspire and engage people and have the ability to identify barriers and understand client needs, while possessing excellent motivational skills. This will include one to one engagement and sign posting to other organisations.

Main duties of the job

Working in conjunction with the NHS Trust IAPT Service and DWP the role supports people accessing primary care provision with their employment challenges. The role is a hybrid role which involves working with clients through a mix of home working/ community-based work, via telephone, and face to face appointments. This could be to help with job retention, assisting people in finding and sustaining paid employment or voluntary work. As part of a wider team, you will work closely with mental health workers, partners, and other agencies. You will have an interest in working within the employment support sector and knowledge of employment rights and job retention would be an advantage. You will demonstrate an ability to prioritise a caseload and understand the principles of the Equalities Act and how it relates to Employment Rights. Full on the job training will be provided for the right candidate.

This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are dedicated to the principles of social inclusion to work with adults with Mild to Moderate mental health needs.

We are looking for excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to demonstrate a proactive and highly motivated attitude.

This post will operate throughout Worcestershire and use of own transport is essential. Appropriate mileage expenses will be provided.
