Main duties of the job
Are you an experienced specialist sexual health nurse with leadership and management experience? An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Cornwall service as a sexual health clinical manager. You will join a well established team of operational, clinical staff and doctors in the all age level 3 service across the Cornwall county. If you are passionate about service development, contributing to high quality patient care and leadership, this could be the perfect role for you. The post-holder will play an active role in the leadership of Brook Cornwall services and take personal responsibility for ensuring staff are engaged in supporting the wider work of the organisation.
Essential criteria
Relevant qualifications in contraception and GU medicine eg. COSRH (FSRH) Diploma and STIF Competencies or equivalent
Non medical prescriber
Up to date knowledge and experience of sexual health policies and practice
Demonstrable management and leadership experience
Experience of leading and managing geographically dispersed staff, managing multi-disciplinary professional and nursing teams
