Job summary

Hours: Part-Time 26 hours, to cover

- Wednesday 12-8pm

- Thursday 9am-8pm

- Friday 9am-5pm and Saturday 9am-1pm (minimum, 1 Saturday a month)

(Upon completing your probationary period, you will be eligible to join the 4 Day Week program, which allows you to work 20% fewer hours without a decrease in salary)

Contract: Permanent

Location: Thurrock 

Salary: £30,000 per annum pro rata

Main duties of the job

We are looking for a nurse with an interest in developing their contraception and sexual health skills. We need someone who can work in a dynamic team and is self motivated to develop the specialist skills to provide sexual health and contraceptive care. 

Work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team to deliver high quality services to clients, by providing contraception and sexual health services to young people in line with excellent clinical practise and undertaking practical training and theoretical study (from a Brook approved course provider) to become a CASH Health Nurse on completion.

Essential criteria

Vaginal examination skills 

Cervical screening skills 

UK drivers license and access to a car
