Job summary

Hope House Children’s Hospices have an opportunity for a Clinical Practice Educator to join our team based in Oswestry. You will join us on a part time, permanent basis working 30 hours per week. We offer flexible working to have a real work life balance. In return, our Clinical Practice Educator will receive a competitive salary of £47,440 to £54,288 (FTE) per annum, depending on experience.

Main duties of the job

You will help deliver our mission by supporting the learning and education across the hospices, promoting high standards of care through the role modelling of your professional, clinical expertise, creating a positive learning environment where staff are encouraged and supported throughout their induction, education and continuing professional development.

You will actively develop and nurture external partnerships, support educational and organisational projects and be a representative for the hospice at forums and conferences. You will work within the Quality and Assurance team, maintaining close relationships with the Learning and Development team, to provide this support service for the Care Team.

  • Is a NMC registered children’s nurse
  • Has a NMC recognised mentorship qualification (Desirable)
  • Demonstrates excellent paediatric clinical leadership skills
  • Has experience working independently
  • Is highly organised and can rapidly delegate and prioritise
  • Has excellent communication skills
