Hope House Children’s Hospices have an opportunity for Nurse to join our team based in Ty Gobaith Children’s Hospice, Conwy. You will join us on a full-time, permanent basis. You will be required to work 12.5-hour shifts both days and nights within this role. In return, our Nurse will receive a competitive rate of £30,809 - £37,505 per annum (dependant on experience). Unsociable and weekend enhancements apply.

Hope house Children’s Hospices is a special place to work. Our hospices are bright, sunny, child-centred buildings set in spacious grounds, with sensory rooms and playroom. We support more than 750 local families who are either caring for a terminally ill child, or whose child has died. About the Nurse role:
Hope House Children’s Hospice has an exciting opportunity for a registered Nurse (Children’s Nurses or Adult Nurses (RN) with paediatric experience) to join our care team to provide excellent specialist palliative and end of life care to children and young people.
If you are a qualified nurse with a minimum of 1 years’ experience looking for a new challenge, with a passion for palliative care, we are committed to the development of our employees and will offer you a comprehensive training package. You will continue to develop your knowledge and clinical skills enabling you to deliver the highest standards of care, which supports our values and purpose. Whilst maintaining and enhancing your skills, you will have the opportunity and time to build meaningful relationships with children and their families, which make these incredibly fulfilling roles.
As a valued member of our team, you will be providing care to children and young people who have been diagnosed with a life limiting and life threatening condition. You will have the compassion and communication skills to put the needs of the child and their family at the heart of everything you do, so that we are able to provide the right care and support for them, when they need us most.
What we are looking for a Nurse who:
- Demonstrates an understanding of the needs of children and young people with life-limiting conditions and children’s palliative care
- Has excellent communication skills
- Sets high standards of care and is a good role model
