You will join us on a full-time , permanent basis, although part-time working of 30 hours per week will be considered. In return, our Lead Physiotherapist will receive a competitive salary of £42,389 to £47,960 per annum.

Main duties of the job

We have a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and dedicated Lead Physiotherapist to join our supportive multi professional care team at our Hospice in Conwy. We are a centre of excellence offering a fully equipped child centred environment set in beautiful spacious grounds with views overlooking the Conwy Estuary.

In your role as Lead Physiotherapist you will be passionate about the specialty of neurological, respiratory physiotherapy and hydrotherapy, with experience in palliative care and paediatrics.

Your role will involve offering high quality assessments and therapeutic treatment plans and take an ongoing educational and advisory role to include manual handling, sharing your knowledge and expertise with the care teams and families.  Your role with us will involve using your specialist clinical and communication skills to help support children and young people.

We’re a charity that cares for children with serious conditions, who aren’t expected to live longer than early adulthood. Your role will be based in our bright, homely, active and supportive hospice, where you will make a real difference and help the children enjoy the best possible quality of life and be as comfortable, happy and fulfilled as they can. 

Hope House Children’s Hospices is hosting a careers day and training event especially for physiotherapists on Thursday 20th July. The event, which takes place at the hospice’s site just outside Conwy, will be an opportunity for physiotherapists to take part in training and development sessions and to find out more about physiotherapy careers at Hope House and Ty Gobaith.   • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage a diverse workload with constantly shifting demands and also to monitor the workload of others
