Main duties of the job
The post holder will be responsible for the delivery of high standards of daily treatments and supporting service users in their recovery from drug or alcohol addiction. Working as part of an integrated substance misuse team to deliver both clinical and psychosocial interventions at HMP Bronzefield.
The post-holder will work in conjunction with the registered nurses to provide brief interventions, prescribed drug treatments, crisis interventions and all aspects of nursing care and be required to manage a case load of clients; providing them with appropriate harm reduction advice and guidance, developing recovery based care plans and delivering structured 1:1 and group work sessions.
The service is delivered 7 days a week with flexible working on a rota basis.

- 6 months minimum frontline experience in health & social care setting
- Right to work in the UK (minimum of 12 months as fixed term contracts can be considered)

Working within a health improvement framework you will deliver client centred interventions
alongside the Registered Nurses, as part of a multidisciplinary team, upholding professional
standards at all times. You will be responsible for the clinical assessment, planning,
implementation and evaluation of care, with and without direct supervision.
