Main duties of the job
As a Family Support & Bereavement Practitioner, you will work with parents/guardians, children, young people and their siblings providing emotional and practical support using therapeutic, holistic and compassionate approaches. It is often said that working in childrens palliative care is a real honour and privilege but is frequently overlooked as a career pathway. You will be a Registered Social Worker or someone with equivalent qualification and experience of working with children and young people in a health, social or education setting and have excellent communication skills and strive to make a difference in creative and demonstrable ways.
