Job summary

Kingston GP Chambers are supporting Roselawn Surgery to recruit a part-time receptionist/administrator (16 hours per week) to join a well-established practice in New Malden. Working days would be Monday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoons.

The practice is part of the New Malden and Worcester Park Primary Care Network (PCN) and serves patients within the lovely surburban part of New Malden. It's location means the surgery is close to the popular high street and is accessible by bus with it also being in close proximity to the A3 as well as New Malden train station.

Main duties of the job

  • Greeting patients & welcoming them in to the surgery.
  • Answering phone calls to respond to patient queries and managing appointments.
  • Liaising with hospitals and Consultants for patient appointment bookings and chasing results.
  • Handling incoming patient emails.
  • Ensuring all relevant correspondence is scanned and saved accurately into patient files on EMIS.
  • Assist in data collection for practice performance indicators..
  • Opening and sorting daily post, scanning and indexing documents into clinical system EMIS.
  • Ad hoc administration task.

The surgery is based within the New Malden and Worcester Park Primary Care Network and provides care to in excess of 6,000 patients.

Roselawn is part of the New Malden and Worcester Park Primary Care Network (PCN) and received a 'Good' CQC rating following it's last inspection.
