Main duties of the job
We are seeking an excellent communicator who can work
with varied teams to produce multi-channel content for internal and external
audiences.
Executive role will bring:
- Create compelling
story-led content from patients, families, staff, volunteers and
supporters
- Identifying opportunities for coverage in local, regional and national area
- Producing high quality written content for multi-channel use
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver engaging varied publications

St Catherines Hospice is a respected local charity providing specialist hospice care alongside statutory service partners (GPs, District nursing etc) across West Sussex and East Surrey.

- Educated to A Level standard or equivalent education.
Desirable
- You may hold a marketing or communications qualification, for example from the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
- Full driving licence and access to vehicle for business use.
Experience
Essential
- Extensive PR and communications experience gained from private or charity sectors.
- Copywriting skills for a range of comms outputs.
- Experience managing the content, collation and production of an in-house publication.
- Excellent face to face communications skills with the confidence to meet and work with a wide-range of people.
- Understanding of media outreach.
- Skills capturing the stories of a wide range of case studies, from interview to final written content.
- Ability to demonstrate and model St Catherine's values in all aspects of work.

- Video, photography editing skills.
- Experience of developing an internal communications strategy.
