Job responsibilities

You will be responsible for cleaning patient rooms and supporting with our in-house laundry service. You will also conduct routine cleaning of public areas and office space, in addition to regular planned deep cleaning and dealing with emergencies, such as spills.

All our Housekeeping Assistants play a fundamental role in the delivery of outstanding care by ensuring the Hospice is safe and clean, and making our environment feel comfortable for our patients and their loved ones.

This role is offered on a part time basis, working 20 hours per week, worked over 4 days from Monday to Sunday. Working hours will be either 7.30am-1pm or 1pm-6.30pm, with a 30 minute unpaid break.

In addition to your salary, you will benefit from a generous enhanced pay rate for working your share of some weekends and bank holiday.
