Main duties of the job
We have an exciting opportunity to join our new Superstore in Crawley. We are seeking enthusiastic Retail Operation Assistants to deliver excellent customer service.
Supported by our Shop Managers, your key responsibilities will include carrying out day to day activities relating to all operational routines in our shops, including compliance with statutory regulations relating to health & safety, hygiene, trading standards, and security of the retail premises.
This hands-on role requires a commitment to high standards and volunteer support. You will have previous experience of working in a customer service environment and have a flexible, enthusiastic approach. Previous retail experience is desirable, but full training will be provided.
This role is offered on a full time (40 hours per week) or part time basis (24 hours per week) across Monday - Sunday.

- Full driving licence or the ability to be able to access public transport to travel across our trading locations

- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate both in person and by telephone, effectively at all levels
- Proficient numeracy skills
- Excellent organisational skills
- Experience of working in a customer care environment

- Supervisory skills
- Retail experience
- EPOS expereince
- Creativity (e.g. window display)
- Some knowledge of St Catherine's Hospice work in the community, including its charity shops
- Awareness of statutory regulations including H&S legislation, trading standards, hygiene and retail premises
