Main duties of the job
We are looking for an enthusiastic Fundraiser to join our Individual Giving team.The Individual Giving Fundraiser will lead on
Legacy Marketing and the Mid Value donor programme. This is a very exciting
time to join the department, as this fundraiser works with Hospice UK on a
national Gift in Will campaign, with a second part of the project going live in
September 2025.

You will develop and deliver a wide range of
opportunities to engage the public with leaving a gift in a Will. You will also
lead on the creation and execution of a Middle Value donor programme, working
in collaboration with the Partnerships team. This key role will ensure that
this cohort of supporters receive exceptional donor care, effectively
stewarding supporters and identifying appropriate onward journeys to retain
support in the future. This role will be central to identifying, launching and
developing long term relationships with potential high value and major donor
supporters, maximising their potential lifetime value with a view to ultimately
pledging a legacy gift in the future.

- Demonstratable experience of identifying a donors potential and acting to maximise this potential.
- Excellent team skills with an ability to work across teams and in project groups.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including experience of making asks.
- Experience of being an ambassador and building strong working relationships, internally and externally.
- Experience of producing compelling and impactful written materials which inspire and motivate.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office packages and databases.
Desirable
- Experience of using Raiser's Edge.
- Ability to inspire, motivate and manage volunteers.
- Experience in delivering legacy promotion activity
- Experience of delivering a Mid Value donor programme
- Experience of monitoring, tracking and reporting on income and expenditure.
