Job summary

We are seeking a Registered Nurse or Registered Childrens Nurse with specialist skills to complement our care team at Helen House. This role is about more than just nursing; you will get to work with remarkable colleagues and meet extraordinary families while acting as an advocate for Helen & Douglas House and for Childrens Palliative Care.

Main duties of the job

As an ambitious Registered Nurse, your heart and soul will go into continuing to develop and establish our service for children living in our community. By being an exceptional role model and being able to demonstrate evidence of up-to-date academic development post registration, you will possess clinical expertise to support the strategic delivery of care packages to children ensuring there are robust governance and risk management processes in place.

This is a permanent full-time role, although part-time hours will be considered. This role is Band 6 and attracts an annual salary of £38,833 to £47,694per annum pro rata, dependent on experience. Werun a combination of short and long shifts; early, day, late and night working is required to accommodate a 24/7 service.
