In this role you will be working closely with Finance Assistants and Donor & Supporter Care Assistants to ensure the accuracy of data processing.It will be office-based in Warwick, within office hours.
This role will support our work by processing donations that are needed to fund our services.

Main duties of the job
As a Finance and Donor & Supporter Care Team Assistant, a typical day might include:
- Processing cash and cheques received in the Finance Department
- Inputting donations and invoices onto the system
- Providing cover for both teams with general administration tasks
You could be our Finance & DSC Team Assistant if you have:
- Great attention to detail, especially with numbers
- Good communication, teamwork and people skills
- Strong organisational skills
- Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience of working in an office, providing customer service, and working with data
You might have experience as a Finance Assistant, Office Administrator or Data Entry Assistant.

Role Purpose:
To work across the Finance and Donor &
Supporter Care (DSC) team to support with day-to-day administration, and
provide cover for absence within these teams.
To work closely with the Donor & Supporter
Care Assistants, Accounts & Finance Assistants, and the wider Finance and
Fundraising teams including volunteers, in inputting data, providing customer
service to donors and supporters, administration of Regular Giving, and
handling mail correspondence.

Main Duties & Responsibilities
- To assist in recording the income received from fundraising activities and to generate tailored thank-you communications from the Donorflex system
- To provide a professional and efficient service to donors and supporters
- To respond appropriately to supporter enquiries via all communication channels, in a timely manner, and send out information as requested
- To ensure data quality and compliance according to GDPR and other relevant legislation
- To support the Lottery team with the administration of inputting new lottery members onto Donorflex via weekly import
- Regular Giving administration: setting up and processing new direct debit instructions and standing order payments, amending and cancelling regular gifts where appropriate, ensuring supporter records are kept up to date and acknowledged properly
- To log income received from donations and fundraising activities, record cheques and cash received and prepare daily banking report
- To bank reception and vending machine sales money from both Warwick and Coventry sites daily
- To input coded purchase invoices onto Sage 200
- To monitor the stock level of bank paying-in books, coin bags and cash collection bags
- To open the external post daily
- Any other duties commensurate with the post
