Chestnut Tree House is thechildren's hospice for East and West Sussex and South East Hampshire, providing specialist palliative care for children and young people with life-shortening conditions.

We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic and brilliantly organised individual to support our expanding activities and outreach programme. We are looking for someone who likes working with children, young people and their families
Main duties of the job
This role involves:
- Develop and provide age-appropriate recreation, activities and events for children, young people and their families staying at Chestnut Tree House
- Develop engaging and exciting events for children, young people and their families during the school holidays
- Liaising with external organisations and individuals, to book visits and activities for children, young adults and their families.
- Co-ordinate volunteers who help with activities.
- Be aware of and follow Child and Adult Safeguarding Procedures
- Ensuring activities and events are safe and effective through comprehensive planning and administration.
