We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced MDT Coordinator to join our team at HJE. The post holder supports the Patient Safety Team and the Medical Director to provide a high performing role demonstrating best practice decision- making for patients with complex medical conditions.
Main duties of the job
This position reports to the Patient Safety Manager and will be engaged in a wide range of corporate administrative support activities. This will include attendance at evening meetings. Part time and flexible working can be considered.
This role requires individuals to exercise close attention to detail and excellent time management.

Job responsibilities
- To record MDT meeting patient outcomes and clinician attendances
- To arrange meetings, invite members, prepare MDT patient lists
- To collate relevant patient diagnostic results
- To liaise with relevant consultants and medical secretaries
- To circulate and distribute MDT outcome documents post meeting
- To keep accurate records with accurate reflection of the discussions
- To produce high quality documentation in a timely manner to enable stakeholders to make progress.
- To assist in the recording and evidencing of any quality improvement and action plans as and when required by the executive team.
- Attend the meetings
- Working with the Radiologists to maintain an updated rota
- Review and update the MDT process and procedures
- To provide assurance and compliance reports

- Educated to A- level with proven relevant experience
- IT courses such as XL, Microsoft Word, Microsoft TEAMS,
- AMSPAR certificate
- Previous experience of MDT coordinating
Desirable
- Experience establishing effective working relationships with Consultants, Secretaries, Managers and colleagues
- Evidence of ability to be flexible and show initiative, sensitivity and enthusiasm to work
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills in person, on telephone, letters, email, hybrid or online
- Results orientated and a passion for improving the service
- Sets and maintains the highest standards of personal integrity and confidentiality
