Job summary

St John and St Elizabeth Hospital is delighted to offer this new an exciting opportunity to a target driven recruiter, this is a dual role. The Post Holder will be supported by the Recruitment Manager, you will be responsible for driving recruitment campaigns in the hospital. You will be responsible for undertaking safe and fair recruitment activities both externally and internally driving down vacancies and increasing applications and job offers.

Main duties of the job

You will be providing practical support to the Recruitment Team to reduce vacancies and recruit into hard to recruit posts. The post holder will be responsible for cold calling candidates, sourcing candidates from various job boards, running recruitment campaigns and attend external recruitment events. As a member of the recruitment team, you will be responsible for managing your own area of work, you will manage and support candidates through the on-boarding process. The successful candidate will be responsible for ad-hoc recruitment, HR and payroll queries. This post covers both clinical and non-clinical recruitment including bank appointments

  • To support the recruitment coordinators, providing them with consistent guidance and monitoring of metrics for improvement
  • To work very closely with the Hospital Marketing team to produce cost effective Social Media campaigns and online presence.

  • Ensure the recruitment log is maintained in accordance with policy and procedures

  • To develop positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure continued confidence and trust in the resourcing and retention function
