Job summary

St John and St Elizabeth Hospital is delighted to offer this new an exciting opportunity to a target driven recruiter, this is a dual role. The Post Holder will be supported by the Recruitment Manager, you will be responsible for driving recruitment campaigns and managing talents in the hospital. You will be responsible for undertaking safe and fair recruitment activities both externally and internally driving down vacancies and increasing applications and job offers.

Main duties of the job

You will be providing practical support to the Recruitment Manager and the Recruitment Team on vacancy reduction and hard to recruit roles. The post holder will be expert in managing recruitment job boards and social media campaigns and supporting the recruitment process; including managing vacancies, supporting and managing candidates through the on-boarding process, and assisting with retention and ad-hoc projects. The post holder will be expected to deputise for the recruitment manager as required and take a part in day to day administration of recruitment and retention activities. This post supports both clinical and non-clinical recruitment including bank appointments

  • To identify multiple work streams for candidate attraction focusing on the overall reduction of vacancies across the hospital, working with hiring managers to understand which platforms would be most effective to enable maximum impact on vacancy reduction.
  • To be responsible for own recruitment activities, and working effectively and efficiently within agreed KPI.
  • To support the recruitment coordinators, providing them with consistent guidance and monitoring of metrics for improvement
  • To work very closely with the Hospital Marketing team to produce cost effective Social Media campaigns and online presence.

  • Substantial experience of designing and delivering attraction campaigns & assessment centres
  • Proven experience of managing recruitment campaigns and events
  • Good experience of marketing / Social Media
  • Use of IT systems and automation for efficiencies

  • Experience of working to strict deadlines in a fast moving HR environment
  • Demonstrates enthusiasm to improve systems, processes and service delivery
  • Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to analyse complex situations conceptually and provide workable solutions to a variety of stakeholders
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
