Job summary
The applicant should have significant experience in the provision of primary care and dermatology services ( RCGP/BAD GPwER Dermatology, Group 3 preferred), able to work independently and to provide supervision for junior colleagues when needed.

Main duties of the job
You will
work part time (2 sessions per week, including Wednesday afternoons) at our Elm
Lodge Surgery or Guys Hospital sites.
Our community dermatology service manages a wide-range of paediatric
and adult dermatological conditions that would otherwise be referred to
secondary care; it triages dermatology referrals offering advice and guidance. The service is an IHL/ Guys and St
Thomas NHS Foundation Trust (GSTT) collaboration and involved in many exciting initiatives to
improve patient care.

Southwark Community Dermatology/ Improving Health Ltd (IHL) seek an experienced dermatology practitioner, eg GP with Extended Role in Dermatology (GPwER group 1 or 3), accredited Dermatology GPSI or a clinician working as a Dermatology Trust Grade to join our dynamic, enthusiastic and progressive team.

role of the Southwark Community Dermatology (SCDS) GPwERs aims to be broadly in line with the RCGP 2018 Guidance
and competences to support the accreditation of GPs with Extended Roles
(GPwERs).
Clinicians
will, in conjunction with Kings Health partners and under the auspices of IHL,
provide a SEL CCG commissioned clinical service for Southwark GP registered
patients with non-urgent dermatological problems outside the 2week wait
remit.
