Generis is the specialist training and development department of ADS, delivering accredited and bespoke training. The Lead Development Trainer role is an exciting career opportunity for someone with experience of delivering and developing training.

Main duties of the job

To assist the Senior Development Manager to develop and deliver high-quality training, advice and guidance to Internal and external organisations To develop, line manage and supervise Generis training staff to ensure high quality training provision to internal and external learners.

Essential

  • If you have the L3 in Education and Training and a L3 in Leadership and Management or equivalent, then we would like to hear from you.

Desirable

  • - Level 3 Assessing Vocationally Related Achievement or equivalent.
  • - Level 4 Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice or equivalent
  • - Level 3 Tackling Substance Misuse or equivalent

Experience

Essential

  • - Relevant experience in the substance misuse field
  • - Knowledge of substances and their effects
  • - A knowledge and commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people and/or vulnerable adults
  • - Knowledge of delivery on virtual platforms e.g., MS Teams, Zoom
  • - Supervisory experience

  • - Experience in dealing with challenging learners
  • - Understanding of issues facing substance misusers
  • - Knowledge and understanding of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
  • - Knowledge of Equality and Diversity
