Main duties of the job

The Healthcare Assistant will:

Play a key role in the provision of specialist palliative and supportive care.

Involve patients and their families first and always go the extra mile to provide first class care.

Play an integral part of the multidisciplinary team and have strong working relationships with other health care providers.

St Anns delivers a service across three sites. Whilst you will have a specific base, there may be occasions where you are required to provide cross-site/service cover.

About us

Contract: We are pleased to be able to offer this post as a full time permanent position

Salary: St Anns Band 3 £22,893-£24,397 pro rata, per annum Competency Based Framework.

Working pattern: 37.5 hours per week

Part time hours will be considered. Weekend work required. The service operates seven days a week, between 09.00-20.00hrs. Enhancements of between 30% - 60% for weekend, bank holidays, unsocial hours

Based at: Little Hulton and Trafford

The successful candidate will be subject to an Enhanced DBS Check, the cost of which is covered by the hospice. Any post holder within the organisation will be expected to undertake safeguarding training appropriate to their role and adhere to safeguarding policies and procedures. All staff must work in accordance with their statutory roles and responsibilities in relation to safeguarding in accordance with the Working Together to Safeguarding Children 2023, The Care Act 2014, and Prevent Duty 2015.
