Job summary
Waters Green Medical Centre is looking for a Facilities Coordinator to join the Estates Team and help us maintain a secure and well-functioning work environment. The Facilities Coordinator will work with and deputise for the Senior Facilities Coordinator and be responsible for the day-to-day facilities and property management within Waters Green Medical Centre
The role demands a reactive and practical hands-on approach whilst taking a positive and proactive approach and building strong working relationships with stakeholders.
Main duties of the job
The post-holder will be responsible for:
All aspects of the facilities provision, including in-house and out-sourced services, ensuring that these services meet the needs of the staff, patients and visitors and are acting within all local policies, procedures, legislation and statutory requirements.
Ensuring that all facilities functions that are delivered support the full operation of the clinical and non-clinical teams within the building.
Overseeing any day-to-day operational building issues and being the point of contact for the practice staff, 1st floor reception team and service providers regarding any building issues.
Supporting the Senior Facilities Coordinator to improve efficiencies, maintain a safe environment for all staff, patients and visitors, and contract management with new and existing services.
The role demands a reactive and practical hands-on approach when dealing with unplanned in-house facilities requests
