Macclesfield PCN Senior Administrator

Job summary

Waters Green Medical Centre are looking to recruit to the role of Senior Administrator for our busy Primary Care Network. The successful candidate will provide high quality administration support to facilitate efficient service delivery. The Senior Administrator will also lead the first-floor reception team and support the reception team leader in their duties. The focus of the role will be ensuring an efficient patient and professional service delivery for patients as part of the Primary Care Network Team.

Main duties of the job

To provide a visible senior point of contact for first floor reception staff and the team leader, providing cover and support.

Be a senior point of contact for patients, visitors, service providers and other health care professionals.

To assist the PCN Management team to drive service delivery and effective communication to all stakeholders using their high levels of administrative and communication skills

Since 1 July 2019, the 6 GP practices based at Waters Green Medical Centre have come together to form Macclesfield Primary Care Network (MPCN) covering a population of approximately 61,400 patients.

Our mission in Macclesfield is to strengthen, develop and support local General Practice, to enable the delivery of high-quality care to local people.

We are building teams within the PCN to enable peer support and team working both within and across professions.
