Job summary
At Local Care Direct, we have an exciting opportunity for
qualified Advanced Clinical Practitioners in our streaming service at Huddersfield
Royal Infirmary. We are looking for motivated candidates who are fully
qualified ACPs in possession of an MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice or a Post
Graduate Diploma in Advanced Clinical Practice, with independent prescribing
qualification.
The ideal candidate will have
experience of working in an urgent care/ primary care setting and have
experience of caring for adults and children. The advanced clinical
practitioner will provide assessment and management of minor illnesses and
injuries within the ED streaming service. Although the post holder will work
autonomously clinical support is available if required.
The advanced clinical
practitioner will work collaboratively with colleagues in the emergency
department to ensure timely assessment, advice and treatment of patients
attending the service.
Hourly Rate: £29.02 in hours & £37.73 out of hours
(In Hours = Monday to Friday 08.00 to 18.00 & Out of
Hours = Monday to Friday 18.00 to 08.00 and all day Saturday Sunday)
HRI Streaming service opens Monday to Friday 18.15-22.15,
Saturday and Sunday 09.45-22.15

Working Pattern: Part-time positions available

Main duties of the job
The Advanced Clinical Practitioner will practice, without
direct supervision, as an independent primary / urgent care healthcare
practitioner within various clinical environments, participating in care of all
age ranges and presenting conditions.
The Advanced Clinical Practitioner will undertake
assessment, diagnosis, treatment including prescribing if appropriate /
referral and discharge of patients with primary / urgent care needs within
their clinical competence.
The Advanced Clinical Practitioner will provide clinical
mentorship and leadership to all trainee and peer practitioners within the
workplace when required.
