Join us at Local Care Direct, a £38m turnover social enterprise delivering health services across West Yorkshire. As a partner within the Integrated Care System, we take on a significant role straddling both primary and secondary care services 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We work with our partners in Urgent and Emergency Care to provide high quality services that are easy to access and understand, while ensuring our patients receive the right advice, care and support. Over the past 20 years, we have developed a broad range of services for patients across Yorkshire and the Humber, including: a centralised contact centre, GP out-of-hours services, Urgent Treatment Centres, walk-in facilities, extended access primary care services, and a dental assessment and booking service, as well as bespoke services for our NHS clients. Our new role of Associate Director of Partnerships and Transformation has been developed to maintain and further develop LCDs position as a key stakeholder within the NHS and the wider health and care economy. You'll work with the Executive team to develop products and identify new ways to support our patients and stakeholders.

You'll be a positive and values driven person, and have a proven track record in service development and client relationships, ideally within the NHS.

Main duties of the job

  • To work as a member of the Senior Management Team to develop and deliver LCDs Strategic and Business Plans.
  • To co-ordinate the identification, development and management of new business opportunities which contribute to the achievement of LCDs Strategic Goals.
  • To maintain and further develop LCDs position as a key stakeholder within the NHS and wider health and care economy, in line with organisational Strategic Goals

Key Accountabilities

  • Co-ordination of stakeholder management and development of key deliverables including Marketing Plans and other associated communication materials.
  • Input to strategic planning
  • Working with the Executive team to develop products and to identify and prepare business cases for new opportunities within existing services/customers
  • Maintain a stakeholder database and provide regular updates and intelligence reports to relevant managers from local communities and LCD engagement and networking activity
  • Draft a range of materials and channels to communicate effectively with all stakeholders and co-ordinate LCD involvement in external events such as exhibitions and conferences
  • To represent LCD at external events where required
  • Monitor and report on market and competitor trends and provide reports and information to the Executive
  • Support the tender evaluation process and production and delivery of tender documentation
  • Coordinate the contract review and assessment process

  • To develop strong relationships with other managers to promote effective cross-functional team working across Local Care Direct that supports the achievement of the companys objectives, standards and protocols.
  • Constantly review ways of working to identify efficiencies and release savings and opportunities for income generation.
  • To ensure effective lines and channels of communication and reporting within the team to support all employees understanding Local Care Direct business plans, objectives, priorities and changes.
  • To ensure all staff have received the defined company induction programme and core training for their role and all required refresher training thereafter.
  • To ensure all staff in your area of responsibility receive an annual performance and development review incorporating the development of a personal development plan.
