Job summary
We are looking for a full-time Gateway Worker (Senior PWP). This would be on a salary range of £35,392 - £42,618, working 37.5 hours per week.
This position will incorporate clinical, managerial and
service development responsibilities. As such we are looking for an individual
who can demonstrate enthusiasm and self-motivation to support the delivery of
the service and contribute to our service values and team culture.
This will primarily be an office-based role with expected
travel between community venues for clinical work.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will support the team in the day to day service delivery by facilitating smooth pathways to services when necessary and take a lead role in dealing with the assessment of risk, and the management of crises. The post holder will also be expected to provide capacity management, clinical supervision, manage a clinical case load and contribute to management of staff, service development and project/research activity.
The successful candidate will:
- Manage a case load and service clinical capacity
- Provide line management and clinical supervision to the team
- Offering immediate case discussion & support to practitioners during clinical contact
- Contribute to the management of clinical governance systems
- Contribute towards overall service delivery with data gathering and analysis of service wait times/ recovery rates
- Engage in and take a lead with ongoing research/group projects
- Provide training and development

- To promote and role model the vision, mission and values of the organisation.
- To assess patients experiencing common mental health problems and direct to the appropriate care
pathway using the stepped care approach.
- To plan, deliver and evaluate interventions with individual patients and systematically record on the

concern and supporting the Operational Management Team.
