Job summary
We have an exciting opportunity recruiting for an experienced HR Manager to join our team. The HR Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources practices and processes, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and internal policies, and supporting our People and the organisation with their development. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strategic mindset, and a strong understanding of HR functions.
Main duties of the job
Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
Bridge management and employee relations by addressing areas of concern , grievances, or other issues.
- Lead on employee engagement initiatives, fostering an environment of continuous improvement and cultural change.
- Support the charity with a plan for diversity, equality, and inclusion that aligns with company values, business strategy and commitments.
- Support and advise the Senior Leadership team with regards to Organisational change, People plans and complex employee relation casework.
- Manage the recruitment and selection process, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring candidates.
- Oversee employee onboarding and orientation programmes.
Implement performance management systems to enhance employee productivity and engagement.
Manage SOC HR Systems, working closely with IT to improve efficacy, workflows and automations, including the review and implement of new HR software. Support with the acquisition and implementation of a new HRIS.
Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.
Develop and maintain HR metrics to measure effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
Set up and maintain regular meetings with the Service managers to keep abreast of people matters and build engagement around organisational changes and improvements.
Line manage and develop the HR team.
Complete any other tasks or responsibilities as required.
