Main duties of the job
What Youll Do
Become an essential part of our Sterile Services Unit, ensuring our theatre teams are fully equipped and ready to deliver outstanding surgery. You will:
- Clean, prepare, and sterilise surgical instruments
- Repack and organise instrument trays
- Restock essential supplies and softpacks
- Maintain a safe, spotless, and compliant TSSU area
- Conduct daily autoclave tests and report issues promptly
- Support senior staff with additional duties

Location: The Horder Centre, Crowborough
Contract Type: 37.5 hours over 4 days per week
Shift Patterns: from 8.00am to 6.00pm
Salary: From £24,102.00 per annum (dependant on experience and relevant qualifications).

In accordance with Home Office guidance, successful candidates will be required to evidence their right to work in the UK before commencing employment. We have assessed this role and it does not meet the criteria for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker route. As such, we will not be accepting any visa sponsorships for this role, and candidates must be able to demonstrate their right to work in the UK independently, without sponsorship from Horder Healthcare.
