At Horder Healthcare, we take great pride in our reputation for exceptional cleanliness and outstanding patient care. We are now looking for a motivated and experienced Housekeeping Assistant to join our fantastic corporate housekeeping team at The McIndoe Centre.
Main duties of the job
As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will be at the heart of maintaining high standards of cleanliness across our hospital. From patient rooms and treatment areas to staff facilities, youll ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
Key Duties:
- Maintain Cleanliness: Perform all cleaning tasks to the highest standard across patient rooms, lounges, treatment areas, and public spaces.
- Waste Management: Safely dispose of clinical, household, and recycling waste.
- Linen Management: Restock clean linen supplies and manage soiled laundry.
- Infection Control: Follow Health & Safety and Infection Control guidelines to ensure a safe environment.
- Communication: Work closely with staff and occasionally interact with patients. Good communication skills are a must!
