Main duties of the job
As a Healthcare Assistant in Theatres, you will work as part of a close-knit, highly skilled clinical team to provide outstanding patient care within the theatre department. Under the supervision of registered Theatre Practitioners, you will play a crucial role in supporting clinical procedures, maintaining hygiene and safety, and ensuring an efficient and seamless service is delivered. Your empathetic nature and professional attitude will help ensure a high standard of care is consistently provided to patients.

- NVQ Level 1/2/3 in Health & Social Care (desirable but not essential).
- A smart, presentable appearance and professional attitude.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Proactive, flexible, and adaptable with a passion for learning.
- A commitment to high standards, patient dignity, and teamwork.
- Previous experience in an operating theatre setting.
- Knowledge of theatre hygiene and infection control best practices.
