Main duties of the job

This apprenticeship will provide an opportunity for learning, development and work experience and offers a supported approach to new career opportunities and further education in the drug and alcohol sector. As part of this role, you will gain experience of the Lancashire Young Person's treatment system, assist in assessing user needs and providing positive interventions that encourage, motivate and assist service users to address their substance misuse. This is a great opportunity to learn more about providing support, information, training, education and guidance to young people, as well as working to improve access to appropriate services. You will be working in partnership with the local authority and will work between With You offices and the local authority offices, therefore a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is required for this role. This is full time position working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 9.00am and 5.00pm. This position is fixed term for 12 months.
