WithYou in Redcar and Cleveland is a free and confidential service for people affected by drugs and alcohol. The service is part of the THRIVE partnership, an integrated substance use, domestic abuse and education/recovery support service.You will be working within a highly skilled and knowledgeable multi-disciplinary team - find out more about the service here.

Job Opportunity
As a Recovery Worker you will be providing support and advice to people who are experiencing difficulties due to substance misuse and domestic abuse. You will have the opportunity to complete training in both areas, and strengthen your knowledge of these key strands of our service. You will have your own caseload, working as part of our team and alongside other social care services to identify how we can help. You will develop plans with your clients to help them get their lives back to where they want them to be.
The successful candidate will be required to co-locate with the safeguarding team and will be expected to respond to referrals on the same day to deliver psychosocial interventions with the aim of reducing harm and managing risks alongside the MACH team assessment.
You will work as part of a team with the aims of:
understanding your clientskeeping them safecreating a plan they can achieve with your supportchecking in with them and reviewing their progresskeeping accurate and timely records of your contact with themworking effectively with other social care providers e.g. Housing, to cover all aspects of their successful recoverycontinuously learning and reflecting to improve the outcomes for your clientssupporting your colleagues across the service to deliver excellent care
This is a full time (37.5 hours per week), fixed term contract, until March 2027.
As a Recovery Worker, we offer a starting salary of £25,000, rising each year in line with our pay progression salary bands, to £30,000 per year. For further details please reach out to a member of the recruitment team via .
