Find out more about us here. Job Opportunity Our Psychologists are an integral part of our team. Your role is to grow and support the team's ability to respond effectively to individuals' past trauma, to also help build motivation and develop resources to assist people to change the way they think, feel and behave. As part of your role, you will hold a specialist caseload of service users with co-existing substance use and mental health needs, including trauma. This is a permanent, part time role, working 22.5 hours per week, with exact days of work to be agreed with the service and your line manager. Hybrid working can be discussed. We offer a starting salary of £41,818, pro rata. As part of our Clinical team, you will receive regular clinical supervision and will be working in a supportive environment, where you will be encouraged to develop your clinical skills as well as providing an opportunity to develop leadership skills, making a difference beyond your own individual practice. There will also be the opportunity to engage in regular CPD and updates, in line with WithYou policy and professional registration requirements. We are looking for Practitioner Psychologists with strong CBT and motivational interviewing practice, who not only possess expertise in their work within drug and alcohol services, but have a passion for developing skills and supporting and supervising others in the delivery of psychologically informed work. You will be a compassionate and empathetic individual, with the ability to connect quickly with the people we support. We'll be looking for evidence of the following in your application:

• We are excited to hear from Psychologists with a range of experience - if you are HCPC registered and have demonstrable experience as a Practitioner Psychologist for a minimum of one year, we would be interested in speaking with you to find out more.

• We are looking for Practitioner Psychologists with strong CBT and motivational interviewing practice, who not only possess expertise in their work within drug and alcohol services, but have a passion for developing skills and supporting and supervising others in the delivery of psychologically informed work. You will be a compassionate and empathetic individual, with the ability to connect quickly with the people we support. We'll be looking for evidence of the following in your application:
• Post graduate Doctoral level training (BPS accredited) in clinical or counselling psychology, or equivalent. This should include models of psychopathology, clinical psychometrics and neuropsychology
• Registered with the HCPC as a Practitioner Psychologist, and evidence of continuing professional development
• Demonstrable experience of having worked as a qualified practitioner psychologist (e.g. clinical, or counselling) under the supervision of a more senior member of the profession for a minimum of 1 year
• Post qualification experience of psychological assessment and treatment of service users with a range of psychological needs of a complex nature and including substance misuse for a minimum of 1 year
• Accreditation with BABCP (or working towards BABCP accreditation, achieved within 6 months), although this is not essential
