Job Opportunity
WithYou in Redcar and Cleveland is a free and confidential service for people affected by drugs and alcohol, working as part of the THRIVE partnership, an integrated substance use, domestic abuse and education/recovery support service. You will be working within a highly skilled and knowledgeable multi-disciplinary team - find out more about the service here.
The Operations Manager is responsible for leading and managing a staff team, ensuring that they are well informed, inspired and engaged with the strategic objectives of WithYou. It is important that you promote a cohesive culture that is committed to delivering high quality recovery-orientated services. This is a permanent, full time position, working on site across Redcar and Cleveland.
Key duties will include:
Working closely with colleagues in the sector to demonstrate plans are in place and mechanisms exist to monitor delivery and achievement of goalsActively contributing to the extension of service provision and the development of new initiativesManaging or contributing to the management of service delivery budgetsEnsuring staff receive appropriate training and support to deliver servicesDeveloping strong and positive relationships with key stakeholders and commissioners to ensure continuity of service
Essential Skills
We'd be excited to see evidence of the following in your application:
A proven track record of managing and leading drug and alcohol services or mental health services (or comparable services)Ability to lead and improve services to meet local needs, monitor performance and deliver positive outcomes for clients.Ability to build strong working relationships with staff, clients, carers, commissioners and partner organisationsExperience of leading and supporting staff through supervision, appraisals, performance management and training, in line with organisational values and policiesDemonstrable experience of managing, investigating and responding to incidents (including safeguarding, clinical, and serious incidents), ensuring appropriate reporting, learning is identified and implemented and actions are taken to reduce risk and improve service quality
