Our team in Lambeth are recruiting for a Criminal Justice Recovery Worker, to join them in providing high quality recovery care to a diverse client group. If you are an enthusiastic and creative individual and are passionate about changing people's lives for the better, we'd love to hear from you.
At Lambeth, WithYou works closely with the lead provider, South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust and partners, Phoenix Futures and Way Through providing free and confidential support to adults experiencing challenges with drugs and alcohol.
As a leading charity supporting people with drug, alcohol, and mental health challenges, we operate over 80 services across England and Scotland, providing free and confidential support to more than 100,000 people each year.
As a Recovery Worker, we offer a starting salary of £29,000 (including Inner London Weighting), rising each year in line with our pay progression salary bands, to £34,000 per year.

Criminal Justice Recovery Workers provide interventions for people who have involvement with the criminal justice system and will cover a range of different areas. This role is subject to enhanced vetting with the Police due to the nature of the position.
Our Recovery Workers work with our clients to help them to determine what their goals, ambitions and passions are, working with them to create the best treatment plan for their needs and to get them back onto the path to recovery. This is an integral role for With You - you will manage an active caseload of clients, connecting quickly with the people we support, treating them respectfully and with dignity.
You will be a compassionate and motivated individual, with an exceptional ability to build meaningful relationships. We're looking for demonstrable experience working within the health, social care, criminal justice or other specialist setting, ideally with those with substance misuse issues. We will provide you with the training and support that you need to develop in your role so whilst experience is preferred it is not essential, please make sure to demonstrate your interest in the position and your transferable skills in your application.
You will be highly organised, with excellent communication skills and able to manage your time effectively, working as part of a team to ensure a high quality service is maintained. Essential Skills
To be successful in this role, you will:
have attained ONC/NVQ level 3 or be willing to achieve this within 12 monthshave some experience of working in a health, social care or related settinghave the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients and colleagues alikebe able to work effectively in a team, supporting others when neededbe resilient under pressure and able to prioritise you work have good oral and written communication skillsbe comfortable using IT and digital mediabe organised and able to manage your time effectivelyable to be flexible with your working hours on occasionbe happy to support other With You locations when needed Should you be successful in your application, you will be required to provide 3 years' worth of references and will need to undergo an enhanced DBS check and be able to pass a vetting check to work in custody and courts as required.
