Job summary

Our Talking Therapies Service in Kent and Medway are looking for two High Intensity Therapists to join the service on a full-time permanent basis.

Main duties of the job

As a High Intensity Therapist, you will liaise with other health and social care staff from a range of agencies in the care provided to clients and also contribute to meaningful outcomes such as adherence to the number of clinical sessions offered per week and closed cases per month.

About the Role You'll be an experienced, qualified High Intensity Therapist ideally with BABCP accreditation (or willing to complete within 6 months) and who likes working as part of a supportive team to help clients who struggle with common mental health problems such as anxiety and/or depression. You will assess clients for suitability for psychological interventions and formulate and evaluate their therapy programmes. To support you in your role you will receive weekly 1:1 clinical supervision, 4 weekly group supervision, 4 weekly reflective practice and monthly line management. Benefits

    • Talking Therapies Course (Post Graduate Diploma)
    • OR equivalent: A recorded/registered doctoral level qualification in clinical or counselling psychology; a recorded/registered qualification in one of the following - nursing, social work, occupational therapy, arts therapy or within a psychological therapy - plus further postgraduate qualification training in CBT, AND significant experience working as a psychological therapy practitioner and demonstrating the competences as required
    • Accreditation with BABCP (or working towards BABCP accreditation within approx. 6 months)
