Job summary

This role has been designed to work specifically with women living across the borough, with diverse and complex needs to engage in treatment around their substance use, healthy relationships and mental and emotional health.

Main duties of the job

Your main responsibility will be to work with our vulnerable women cohort to engage them in treatment. You will be holding women only spaces, reaching out to women only refuges and hostels and developing our women only offer. There will be an emphasis on multi agency working and networking to develop and provide sustainable pathways, supporting women to meet their goals. You will also be responsible for leading the clinical governance of the service, ensuring clients' needs are addressed in an appropriate, planned and timely manner following assessment through to completion of referral. You will support the day to day operation of the service through delivery of evidence based interventions, managing a small active caseload. You will work to develop and enhance the practice of frontline workers including Recovery Workers, Volunteers and Recovery Champions, to ensure they meet clinical governance requirements. You will identify activities that supplement existing systems, processes and resources and then develop skills and enhance practice to improve service quality.

Our team in Lambeth is looking for an Advanced Practitioner to join them in providing high-quality recovery care to a diverse client group. At Lambeth, WithYou works closely with the lead provider, South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust and partners, Phoenix Futures and Way Through providing free and confidential support to adults experiencing challenges with drugs and alcohol.

As a leading charity supporting people with drug, alcohol, and mental health challenges, we operate over 80 services across England and Scotland, providing free and confidential support to more than 100,000 people each year.

As an Advanced Practitioner you will work collaboratively with the Service Manager, Team Leaders, Operations Managers and our partner organisations, to ensure clear communication and meet the delivery needs of this service to support our clients to achieve positive outcomes. This post requires excellent leadership skills to work innovatively and confidently. You will support staff in high performing recovery work, overseeing quality assurance and safeguarding, with the capacity to work within competing demands and tight timescales.

The position is full time and fixed term until 10/09/2026. The salary is £30,390 - £41,700 per annum (this is inclusive of a Inner London Weighting payment of £4,000 per year).
