Main duties of the job

As Team Leader you will directly link in to the Service Manager, as well as working collaboratively with other Team Leaders, Operations Managers and our partner organisations, to ensure clear communication and meet the delivery needs of this service to support our clients to achieve positive outcomes. You will be responsible for collaboratively leading a WithYou team to deliver a high level of performance by meeting targets and KPI's set to ensure we are providing the best service to our clients and improve treatment outcomes, whilst creating a supportive and inclusive environment for our staff team. You will also be expected to hold a small caseload. This post requires excellent leadership skills to work innovatively and confidently. You will support staff in high performing recovery work, overseeing quality assurance and safeguarding, with the capacity to work within competing demands and tight timescales. The position is full time and permanent with a salary of £30,390 - £41,700 per annum (this is inclusive of a Inner London Weighting payment of £4,000 per year).

As a leading charity supporting people with drug, alcohol, and mental health challenges, we operate over 80 services across England and Scotland, providing free and confidential support to more than 100,000 people each year.

There'll be data analysis and administration tasks to deal with too, but that's all part of this busy and varied job that you take in your stride. You will have:

  • ONC/NVQ level 3 or equivalent or a commitment to complete within 18-months
  • Experience working in the in the health, social care or criminal justice setting and of working in partnership with a range of statutory and non-statutory agencies
  • A successful track record of management responsibility and development of others
  • An understanding of the issues facing people experiencing challenges in relation to drug/alcohol and/or mental health challenges
  • Knowledge of health and safety, including assessing high risk situations
  • Ability to build effective relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders
  • Be results driven and possess analytical skills
