We are part of a large integrated drug and alcohol service working with some of Cornwall's most excluded and disadvantaged people. Successful candidates will also work alongside in-house services which include community, clinical, criminal justice and a residential rehabilitation facility. Qualifications

Essential

• Full UK Driving Licence and own transport (the role will involve travelling to a variety of centres across Cornwall)
• Should you be successful in your application, you will be required to provide 3 years worth of references and where applicable, will need to undergo an enhanced DBS check.

Experience

Essential

• Demonstrable experience working in the fields of outreach, housing/homelessness health, social care, criminal justice, domestic abuse, or another specialist setting
• Successful track record of working with substance misuse clients
• Resilient and the ability to prioritise and work under pressure
• Knowledge and understanding of health and safety, including assessing high-risk situations for service users
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Be IT competent
• Knowledge and understanding of homelessness, assessment, care planning and key working
• Ability to build effective relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders
• Ability to work effectively as a team player
• Ability to work flexible and unsocial hours as required
