Job summary

We are part of a large integrated drug and alcohol service working with some of Cornwall's most excluded and disadvantaged people. Successful candidates will work as part of the adult community team, alongside in-house services which include outreach, hospital, clinical, criminal justice and a residential rehabilitation facility.

Main duties of the job

The team works within a multi-disciplinary model of practice with partners in safeguarding, housing and homelessness services, domestic abuse services, as well as primary and secondary healthcare and mental health providers.

We have an exciting opportunity in our Cornwall services for a full-time Outreach Worker to join our busy and dynamic Hospital Outreach Service based in Truro. This is an exciting and challenging role that works from a trauma informed perspective based in the community covering all of Cornwall. Due to the outreach basis of this role, a full driver's licence and access to a car is required. The Hospital Outreach Service provides a rapid response to individuals who are frequent attendees at the Royal Cornwall Hospital in Truro and have issues related to substance use. Benefits
