Job summary

Our team in Bournemouth are recruiting for a Criminal Justice Recovery Worker, to join them in providing high quality recovery care to a diverse client group.

Main duties of the job

Criminal Justice Recovery Workers provide interventions for people who have involvement with the criminal justice system. The Criminal Justice Team works collaboratively with other services including probation & prison services, this is a varied role working both in the office and various locations throughout Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole. Our Recovery Workers work with our clients to help them to determine what their goals, ambitions and passions are, working with them to create the best treatment plan for their needs and to get them back onto the path to recovery. This is an integral role for With You - you will manage an active caseload of clients, connecting quickly with the people we support, treating them respectfully and with dignity.

You will be a compassionate and motivated individual, with an exceptional ability to build meaningful relationships.We're looking for demonstrable experience working within the health, social care, criminal justice or other specialist setting, ideally with those with substance misuse issues. We will provide you with the training and support that you need to develop in your role so whilst experience is preferred it is not essential, please make sure to demonstrate your interest in the position and your transferable skills in your application.

You will be highly organised, with excellent communication skills and able to manage your time effectively, working as part of a team to ensure a high quality service is maintained. A driving licence is preferred for this role.
