Job summary

Main duties of the job

You will be responsible for ensuring that individuals with serious mental illness are assessed and have access to support and treatment. You will take forward a small caseload of complex cases requiring ongoing support. Clinical recording keeping is a key component of the role, as is monitoring the effectiveness of care delivery. It will be vital for you to develop strong and positive relationships with key stakeholders and commissioners for the continuity of service. You will also provide supervision for mental health recovery workers and bring dual diagnosis expertise with you.

Job responsibilities

The role will be to provide advice, guidance, and support to individuals with mental health, substance misuse and homeless issues. Here's an opportunity to work collaboratively as a core member of multi-disciplinary teams with other professionals, for the provision of ongoing assessment, care planning, treatment and support of people with drug or alcohol issues who also experience mental health issues. This role is a great opportunity to promote health, independence and recovery. Please note access to a vehicle is required for this role as you will be required to travel to our services across Lincolnshire We welcome applicants who wish to be considered for a part-time position.     • UK Registered Mental Health Nurse with current NMC registration
    • Relevant healthcare experience working with clients affected by substance misuse
    • Qualification in Trauma Therapy i.e. (tfCBT/EMDR)
    • A successful track record of providing high quality care
    • Demonstrable experience of comprehensive assessment of need including risk assessments
    • Demonstrable experience of working with trauma
    • Understanding of the roles, responsibilities and structures of agencies involved in responding to drug and alcohol issues
    • Ability to plan and prioritise own workload
    • Ability to positive engage service users
    • Ability to provide and accept feedback, support, clinical/managerial supervision
    • Ability to treat patients with respect and dignity
    • Effective written and communication skills
    • Ability to assess plans, implement and evaluate patient care and act accordingly if untoward changes occurred
